There is no doubt that Asegame market is at the heart of Lome, it is the most popular market in Lome, but one of the surprising thing is that , people don't normally open on time,
let's say, if you happen to go to the market around 6am-8am, you will be quite disappointed, but that does not mean that serious business will not go on for the day, from 8am to 6pm, you will not see space to move around, you will be surprise where the crowd came from, customers from different countries, like Ghana, Nigeria, Benin republic, Abidjan etc.
One more thing, Togo is a very peaceful country and a lovely place to visit, major languages , French and EWE, and a little English. But they speak more of their local dialect EWE.
